What We Did
This project was all about creating a modern beach house while keeping costs down. Building in a flood zone brought unique challenges – the home needed to be raised on poles, and navigating council restrictions made the process complex. By working closely with the council and building strong relationships with locals, we were able to overcome these hurdles.
The result is a bold, black steel-clad home, lined with Okoume ply and finished with sleek negative detail ceilings. Modern, striking, and perfectly suited to its coastal setting, it’s a home that combines smart design with practical solutions.
