Marty began building in 2007, spending his apprenticeship crafting high-end homes across Wellington - including architecturally designed builds by Melling Morse.
With a passion for quality and an eye for detail, he founded Decisive Construction to create homes that are not only beautiful but built to stand the test of time.

Meet the Team
Director
Marty
Marty is the relational man behind Decisive Construction. While he’s sometimes on the tools, most of his time is spent managing projects, liaising with subcontractors, and keeping everything running smoothly.
Known for his approachable style and clear communication, Marty makes sure every job is delivered to a high standard.
Second in Charge
Chris
Chris is our second-in-command and a builder who thrives on detail. He enjoys working on high-end projects and never misses a chance for a good chat.
Outside of work, you’ll find him spearfishing or out on the water – he’s a boatie through and through. Chris is a dedicated coach of his son’s basketball team.
Builder
Aaron
Aaron is one of the friendliest guy you’ll meet. Softly spoken and gentle in nature, he balances his artistic side and love for cooking with a strong work ethic and pride in his craftsmanship.
His skill and care show in every project he’s part of. He’s a proud dad to 2 lovely girls.
